I am very curious about terrestrial and marine taxonomic groups, especially the area of ecological interactions and conservation. Currently, my focus is the study of Galapagos pinnipeds, I am carrying out my degree project on topics related to the quantification of microplastics in the Galapagos sea lions, which bioaccumulate through their diet. Conducting science on these topics contributes to scientific knowledge about pollution, its impacts, and can also have implications for conservation issues and environmental policies.
