Partners and Participants
This initiative is developed within the Pinniped Ecology Research Program at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito (USFQ) with support from the Galapagos Science Center (GSC), the Galapagos Conservancy (GC), the Galapagos Education District, and the Galapagos National Park Directorate (DPNG). Institutions that have set themselves the goal of promoting environmental awareness among children and youth in the Galapagos community regarding the protection and proper management of Galapagos pinniped populations, encouraging research, the development of critical thinking and problem-solving skills through training workshops, and their involvement in monitoring these species.
